The West End of Vancouver, BC: Signage Photography

I spent quite a bit of time walking through the West End, Davie Street in particular, as it was close to where I stayed while visiting Vancouver.

The West End of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is on the downtown peninsula neighbouring Stanley Park and the areas of Yaletown, Coal Harbour and he downtown financial and central business districts. The definition of the "official neighbourhood" of the West End, according to the city, is the area west of Burrard Street, east of Denman Street, and south of West Georgia Street.[1]

CashMoney on Davie Street was where I exchanged some of my American dollars for Canadian currency.

I often noticed the Canadian maple leaf really small added to common American brands such as in this Denny's sign.

7-Eleven, another common American chain store I smiled as I passed by on Vancouver's streets.

Popeye's! I found the Mucho Burrito restaurant sign playful and humorous.

A lovely flower shop on Davie Street conveniently named Davie's Flowers.

There are so many amazing coffee shops in Vancouver, I wish I had the opportunity to try them all. One night I ordered a hot beverage at Blenz Coffee, a common Canadian chain similar to that of the American Starbucks.

From a small alley this Little Sister's sign caught my attention.

Since it was nearby where I was staying, I went to the Davie St Independent grocery store to pick up a few odds and ends to eat and drink.

I often found this sign floating near coffee houses in Vancouver, Around the World Bean.
