Last week I shared the beginning of a new series Raw and Unedited for this photoshoot of San Francisco's Union Square. It's a series where I share more of my photography process with you. Instead of just showing you the final photos and not really understanding what goes into the process of taking photos and editing them, you get to see the behind the scenes version.

This week's YouTube video is a time-lapse of importing the photos into Adobe Lightroom, going through and making my selections, and then fine tune editing a few of those favorites. Next week I'll share some of these photos on the blog!

Lightroom vs. Photoshop

I sometimes use Adobe's Camera Raw dialog in Photoshop to edit my photos and Adobe Bridge to do my selections but I'm realizing more and more the efficiency of editing in Lightroom to complete editing of one themed photoshoot.

I'm more used to editing within Adobe Camera Raw and I've developed many presets for how I edit certain types of photos so until I replicate that in Lightroom I'll be using both! Which do you prefer for your photography, editing in Lightroom or Photoshop? I'll definitely be doing more videos and tutorials of both Lightroom and Photoshop.
