As my trip to Southern California came to an end, I made my way over to Newport Beach for one last hour. This was my first visit but it won't be my last. I remember this afternoon as the windiest! Sand was flying around and the waves were crashing like crazy. I walked out onto this pier and it actually was a little scary, it didn't feel stable! Seagulls flew around

This is the pier I walked out on and if you ever visit, I'm warning you now it's a little scary looking down when you reach the end (again, crazy waves).Newport Beach is definitely one of the lesser populated beaches I've visited.
Disappearing into the horizon
Something about the ocean disappearing into the horizon brings peace and calms me.
